Reflective Spaces

Spaces for noticing, thinking, and making meaning in the company of others.

Close-up, abstract view of geometric architecture.

When a drop of water is placed in the ocean, its boundary is redefined. Has it dissolved, dilated, or diverged?

Something similar happens when an idea, perception, text, bodily response, or unfinished thought is placed in relation to others. It gets echoed, diverted, sharpened, contradicted, extended.

The presence of another changes what becomes available to notice. Each perspective alters the field in which the others are perceived.

A reflective space makes room for this alteration without requiring resolution.
